Design
The leaked renders of a
Galaxy Note 5 clearly showed off the design of the handset to all and sundry,
which impressed everyone. Samsung showed off a new design when it launched the
Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. From the leaked images, it is clear that the
Galaxy Note 5 too will come with same design as that on Galaxy S6. This means
that the new handset will come with a more premium metal and glass chassis,
which looks stunning.
Display
If the rumour mill is to be
believed, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be launched with a massive 5.9 inch
display that is an absolute delight for viewing. Another speculation happens to
be regarding the resolution of the display, which is expected to be 4K viz.
3840 X 2160 pixels. Regardless to say, the device will be stunning to look at
irrespective of what you are doing on it.
User Experience
Buoyed by a powerful
hardware, we can safely assume that the user experience on the Galaxy Note 5
will be beyond satisfactory. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 5
with the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box.
Notably, Samsung will skin the Android operating system with its own Touchwiz
UI, which comes with enhancements suitable for the hardware that the handset
comes with.
Performance and Battery Life
The Galaxy Note series of
smartphones have always been an epitome of performance and by the looks of it,
Galaxy Note 5 will not be an exception. It is being speculated that the handset
will come equipped with an Exynos 7422 chipset, which an Octa-core unit and is
most likely to be clocked at 2.7 GHz. However, there is one certainty that the
device will come equipped with a massive 4 GB of RAM and we can only imagine
the performance output of the handset. Samsung will also equip the handset with
a massive 4100 mAh battery unit for a longer backup.
Camera Technology
It is speculated that the
Galaxy Note 5 will be launched with a powerful 16 Megapixel snapper armed with
hardware features like Optical Image Stabilisation, autofocus and dual-tone LED
flash. Other features of the camera would include Dual Shot, simultaneous HD
video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection,
panorama and HDR. On the front panel of the handset is a 5 Megapixel unit.
Connectivity
It is speculated that the
Galaxy Note 5 will come with 4G LTE CAT connectivity option that supports ultra
fast Internet connectivity. Other than this, the smartphone will come with
support for 3G, NFC and Infrared port for enhanced connectivity. Besides the
above mentioned connectivity options, the handset comes with usual array of
features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and micorUSB.
